Toshiba's virtual window

One of the more interesting photos in the blog article 24 Behind-the-Scene Photos of CES shows an arrangement of 4 extremely high resolution displays which create a virtual window. Toshiba’s virtual window, as goofy as this may sound, we have seen and used this application in a few scenarios:

  1. Interior rooms that have no natural light or windows
  2. A medical facility or examination room where different scenes evoke feelings of comfort
  3. Providing a custom view and mood in one’s own home. We recently did an installation like this for our clients who want to display photos of the memorable places they have visited.
  4. Hmmmmmm…Where could you use Toshiba’s virtual window?
